Farzand has spent nearly 50 years in slavery. Alongside his wife, he raised six children, each one now enslaved in the brick kiln system, passing on the only life they’ve ever known.

Now elderly and frail, Farzand and his wife are still working, day in and day out. Their bodies are weary, and they carry the heavy burden of knowing their family may never know freedom.
