Tariq and his wife have been enslaved in a brick kiln for 24 years. A small loan for emergency family needs trapped them in a cycle of debt and despair they could never escape. Their three young children have never held a book or entered a classroom they were born into labour and toil for survival.

Tariq’s wife suffers from poor health, yet she is forced to work daily just to secure two basic meals for the family. The children, far too young for such harsh realities, spend their days helping their parents make bricks.

The family is caught in a generational trap. Their debt doesn’t decrease it grows. Without intervention, it will be passed on to the next generation, enslaving them forever.
